A weekly round up of noteable single releases. Let me know what you think!

Though Fresh has been doing his shit since 1996, he is about to release his 2nd only album this month entitled Kryptonite. And yet, it feels like the beginning for him; with the slickest tunes like 2009's 'Hypercaine' and precise production, his turn around of style is one to watch in the coming months. Check out further videos on his MySpace page.

When New York's A-Trak teamed with the producer of Dizzee's Bonkers track Armand Van Helden, what were we to expect? They claim that Duck Sauce is reinventing disco-house for a new generation, to which we prayed was to be the case. Their first single 'aNYway' subscribed to that sentiment, and whilst it hosted some funk and far out house, the most important and concurrent theme to stand out is the fun and frivolous aspect. The same applies to this tune, which after a couple of listens becomes very catchy, retains the fun and will be blasted everywhere over the coming disco summer. The only way it relates to Barbara Streisand is the random declaration of her existence within the tune. And you know, she's.. um.. fun too, right?

I predict this new Chase & Status track to be effing ginormous this summer. It took a few secluded listens, with eyes closed and reality a far distance, to be able to appreciate the production and the husky, rocky vocal from 2008 X-Factor loser Mali. Email in - newsicmoos@yahoo.co.uk and let me know what you think. Is it comparable to previous tunes? If the follow up tunes to this one keep to the same suit, then the direction has evidently changed from their More Than Alot album. There is a twinge of likeness to their remix of Nneka's 'Heartbeat'. Let's keep a close eye and see where this develops to. Good to see them back though.

Ms Dynamity-hee is making her presence felt of recent - following up her massive collaboration with Zinc on 'Wile Out', Dynamite offers Redlight the perfect accompaniment to his grimey synths and attitude fuelled dubstep tune, previously known as 'MDMA'. It's a tune that is an acquainted taste, but nonetheless, it's one to get down n durty to on the grimefloor!

What yoo torkin' baaaaht?

And a final blast from Mark Ronson and The Business International with latest single 'Bang Bang Bang'. Q-Tip and MNDR chip in towards making French nursery rhyme Alouette that little bit hipper. Ross chimes on the remix.
